These repeating monthly patterns allow for easier seasonal forecasting. The typical 2010’s winter starts out with a warm December. This is followed by a colder start to spring in March. Then a cooler beginning to summer during June. Fall gets off to a slow start with summer heat lingering heat into September and October. November can be the one cool fall month. First 70+ degree low temp today too. Quite odd seeing the entirety of Long Island in the encircled area of a SPC graphic.
