In theory we should know fairly quickly if something is dropping with the southern Chicago metro cell, given where it is/tracking toward and it's not a messy squall line.  Environment still not the greatest there in terms of instability.  

Hearing faint/distant tornado sirens (not at home currently).

Midlothian IL. Hit about 3 minutes ago. Sirens. Brother didn’t go downstairs. Don’t think anything is OTG currently. Said it’s a nasty storm though

looks like it gusted out a bit and smaller cells developed into it and on its western Flank

the area to its west of NW may be in trouble..(western Burbs) ..look like they will get almost an hour of partial sunshine ahead of those cells to the west...with the WF/outflow  hanging around

Looks like they are not continuing the tornado warning for areas farther east.
