The supercell literally on the heels of the current producer is starting to crank up. Its rear flank is surging forward and broad rotation starting to take hold. This cell could potentially overtake and become the dominant. We've seen it before, notably the Tuscaloosa/Birmingham overtaken and then it went on to produce the long-track Ohatchee, AL EF4.

Storm off to the North of Golden City has lost a bit of its organization. It could still cycle at any time, but it’s been taking a bit of a breather after putting down at least 2 long track and potentially violent tornadoes.

Haven’t seen any reports that would indicate violent tornadoes yet. Very early obviously.

It’s getting more intense with time. It’s been trying for what feels like two hours, but is getting better organized.

So far it doesnt appear that the storm was doing major damage as it passed north of joplin. Havent heard any reports other than around golden city. Hopefully a major bullet was dodged around joplin tonight

I’ve heard of damage in the Carl junction area and points north east but nothing major as of yet.
