So this was taken yesterday afternoon near Elysburg by a friend of my daughter. I know what it looks like but the storm was not severe and not really all that windy. Was hoping someone could clue me in to what this really was? Her friend did say it was rotating slowly.

Today marks the 34th anniversary of one of the most catastrophic, frightening days in PA weather history. I was 18 at the time and was relying on my NOAA weather radio to follow the great tornado outbreak of 1985...

Still the only time an F5 struck the Commonwealth.

I was 1yr old at the time any links to good (preferably scientific) recap?

These storms were way better than anything I got during our 3 day severe weather stretch.

Also I'm pretty sure I saw a plane get struck by lightning lol

I just came on to post the same thing. I've surpassed the entire week's amount in the past 20 minutes.

Do you not have A/C at your house or is it just not working right now ?

Think he said his ac broke the other day. Also dear god I cant go back to living without AC. Drove a car without it for 6 years and just recently got a new one...life is so much more relaxing without sweating to death all the time

We have central a/c but the coil has gone bad and leaked out an entire charge of freon in three days. It is a 14 year old system and can’t be repaired.

It was super fun burning $280 in freon. Great for the environment, too. Ugh.

High pressure provides sunshine but it will be a cool day for June. Frost is possible tonight in the northern mountains of #PAwx pic.twitter.com/RxVUGnutxQ

Awesome stuff right there!

I ended up with 2.5" of rain over the weekend, 3.1" over the last week.
