that funnel hit my brothers brother in laws house, and wrecked his next door neighbors.

Been there before. Sorry to hear - hopefully no injuries.

Anyone see anything about what the weather will be like after this weekend - ie middle to late June?

They are all ok, and folks have stepped in to help.  Roof ripped straight off of of neighbors brick structure.  Gonna be alright.  Some folks, are way worse off, so I consider them lucky.

Beauty of a day out there today.   Me likey

Another month in the books, another top 10 wettest month. At KMDT they recorded 6.84” of rain in May, normal is 3.79”. That placed May in the 8th spot for all-time Wettest Mays. So in the last 12 months we have now had 5 Top 10 wettest months finishes including the #1 spot for July/Nov 2018. In those 12 months KMDT has recorded 66.66” of rain (June 2018 - May 2019). Our Average May minimum temperature was 57.7, 4th warmest May minimum all-time. The mean temperature for May was 66.2, 4.1 above the normal of 62.1, and 12th warmest all-time.

Big forecast bust today. Called for strokes an heavy rain all afternoon and night. Nada.
What caused it to go bust?

Looks like there were storms to the north and south. Got stuck between the energy. Consider it a makeup for the day a couple weeks ago where 20% chance turned into almost 2” of rain

Pattern's flipped - we're out of the constant rain onslaught. We'll definitely get rain still but nothing like last summer's barrage.

Agreed, though CTP is mentioning heavy rainfall from Sunday into early next week. Sterling is actually talking about flooding concerns down that way.

Yes !

The next 2 weeks look to be below normal, so that takes us into late June.

I’ll be thrilled if most of the summer heat is confined to just July & August.

You know it’ll be August and September. You can put money on a 90 degree day the last week of September imo. That always sucks lol.
