If you mean the chemical, Malathion(Bonide). Instant kill and somewhat more selective than other insecticides- wont kill bees etc. as long you dont spray directly on flowering plants. It does not leave a long lasting residual, but the objective is to kill every adult you can NOW and stunt the next cycle. Just be sure it doesn't rain for a few days for best results. I have a backpack sprayer with a 2-cycle engine. You can use a pump-up garden sprayer if you don't have a lot of vegetation to spray. I am in the woods so I need serious hardware lol. Sounds effective. Looks like about 1" in the normal gauge here so far. The electric Davis is stuck with a pollen/crud clog again.

My Vp2 is clogged so not sure total but creeks are pretty high here Yeah it has really filled in nicely on radar compared to when I made that post. At least there was a break so I got out for an hour to pull weeds. Easy when the soil is saturated.

Sparky
Rainy Sunday just the way I like them. I have had over 2.5" since yesterday evening, will measure later. Good day just to chill. Speaking of chill, temp down to 55.

CAPE
55 here and pouring. Considering I had less than a tenth of an inch of rain for this event when I woke up early this am, the 1.15" currently is pretty impressive. It is also enough. Ready for it to end. eta- looks like the total will be 1.4"

AfewUniversesBelowNormal
Yeah, it didn't seem like it was raining for as much as it was puddleing. This happened last Summer and Fall, and was the first time since the 1990s.

BlizzardNole
Got 1.4 yesterday, total for May of 2.0. I just planted a bunch of flowers and it was MUD! I hope they live but I don't want to wait for some unicorn dry period. This is the last 365 days -- isn't our normal rainfall about 40-45 inches per year? ENOUGH!!!

Jebman
Coupla days ago, strong Texas thunderstorm moved thru Buda. Red radar signature. Gusty winds to 40 mph. Absolute whiteout and very very dangerous lightning! Got 6 inches in three hours. The storm slowed down over us and dumped and dumped. The entire back yard was a lake, lol.
frd
@psuhoffman funny right Old post from Judah, but things are still progressing. The AO and the NAO are really tanked and forecasted to stay that way. Have not seen values like this for a LONG time.

frd
Temps are nice, but the cloud cover is a bit depressing. Seems a lot of cloudy days the last month. Was going to plant on the garden, but will wait yet another day. Very wet soil still despite the warmth of yesterday.
