.A coastal low will spread rain into the region tonight and
Tuesday. Across the mountains the precipitation will start as snow
with snow levels dropping in elevation overnight as the precipitation
becomes heavier. By morning...rain could mix with snow for a time
even near the coast. Steadier rain and snow will taper to showers
during the day Tuesday with any accumulating snow mainly across the
higher terrain. While the accumulating snow will fall mainly across
the higher terrain...even areas near the coast could see a brief
coating of snow towards morning on grassy surfaces.

According to BOX's SWS I have a slim chance at 6".... not sure why hippy is bashing me....too much of that hippy lettuce.

When the precip first started I swear I had a few pellets hit my head. It eventually definitely became all -RA, but I wonder if we had one of those initial dry layer aloft deals where you get those front end pingers with temps well into the 40s.

Yeah we had a pretty good dry layer between 700-800 mb on the morning sounding.
