It is indeed. 0.7" here so far on the board.

Decent snow growth too. Pretty wild for mid May, but it snowed here on Mother's Day in 2017. I wasn't living up here yet, but there were reports of 2-3" of snow that day around here with 8-9" up on the summit of Mt. Snow.

I bet it's more normal than it seems...at least 1 in 5 years if not less.  Even at 1,500ft up in Stowe that seems reasonable for a whitening of May snow.

The good news is that after this anomalous nasty stretch of cold rain we all dread, we're headed back into torch territory next week and maybe, a few strong/severe storms around the 22nd-23rd.

6z GFS looked relatively cool to me.. let's see what's 12z brings

Hum,  starting to get a bit concerned about Monday night/Tuesdays system.   An inch of glop is fine.  6" of heavy wet snow with many trees leafing out is not.  GFS/NAM/EURO spitting out 4-6" totals for me.   If this holds then tomorrow perhaps is a day to make sure the generator is working.
