CoastalWx
I’m just glad summer is here. Always has a good vibe when chunks of ice and cat paws are coming down. Sit back, throw on some Zach Brown....and let the tide tickle your feet.

See last summer. Don't confuse correlation with causation. Different animals. Just the same, I doubt there's much correlation beyond the immediate effects (that's why I said 36 hours, but that was pretty arbitrary).
HoarfrostHubb
We had a new neighbor move in a few weeks ago. He set out some whiskey barrels as planters with flowers in them a couple of weeks ago. Two nights later a frost killed them all.

Ginx snewx
Man it was wild last night, booming storms training overhead. Rivers reacted quickly and are near bankfull again. Ground is saturated even more, saw one farmer yesterday with a tractor with mud a foot deep sloshing as he drove through. Up to 8.82 this month

Up to 8.82 this month That's a lot of rain. Looks like 7.49" here, per BOX, though I'm not sure if that monthly report includes what may have fallen after midnight. CoastalWx
We are frost free until late October here. We plant, but the problem is temps in general can still be cool. So if one does a garden I’d wait a couple of weeks.

Forsythia are past peak here. Losing flowers. Same with flowering pears. Maples are past bud stage and are in leaf out process.
