powderfreak
Cold, wet day. The weather lately on the whole has been inhospitable for snow. Notch Road probably opens as usual in first week of May.

CT Rain
Here's our coverage from this afternoon. I was actually getting ready to cut-in for the hail when then issued the TOR. Definitely wasn't expecting that and wasn't worried about the tornado threat given the stable surface layer and the really crappy low level couplet (besides some side lobe contamination).

Must have just been just outside to the west of that core. Seemed pretty localized. My friend posted a pic from her neighbors house as well and the ground was covered with nickels and quarters. But down the hill was bare.

To me, high leverage situation is ORD....at the least just north of them is blue bombed. Wow. If ORD gets more than 2.2", it will be Chicago's largest snowfall on record so late in the season. Damage In Tolland
Inches and inches yesterday and last night with house shaking thunder overnight. All grass seed washed away. Now heavy commahead rain . And what looks like elevation wet snow in SNE tomorrow. Hope those folks that wished for all this spring misery on here are happy instead of nice weather we’d had overall

This string of days in the 40's with a parade of rains as far as you can see--summer of yore.

Of course there is. Wet ground /soil moisture has direct correlation to humidity. See last summer.
