The warm spots should make a run on the mid to upper 70s today. More breaks of sun now to the west than models were showing a few days ago. So the first 80 of the season is within reach for the warmer spots with enough sun. Looks like spring has finally sprung after a slow start.

Hey at least we got to see some snow flakes on April 5th!  I love seeing snow in April, because then you know it's the last time you'll see it for the season, so it has a special feeling associated with it.  So our snow season extended from November 15-April 5 this time around!

About freezes, I've never seen a freeze after April 20th (or snow at the coastal plain for that matter) or one before October 20th.

Yep, count on cold air winning out this time of year if there is ever a question it may occur. We're probably looking at a morning high and falling PM temps ahead of the PM squall.
