Hoosier
Boundary in northeast IL/northwest IN has put on the brakes and even appears to have retreated north/east a bit. Will have to see if any cell can take advantage of it, though low level flow is fairly weak so it may still be tough to get a spinner.

Calderon
A very intense cluster of storms is headed for the STL area, and this could be a very nasty situation given the hail history combined with both the Blues at home and Cardinals at home this evening. There's at least 70,000+ people downtown for the events, so this is a potentially critical situation evolving.

cyclone77
That storm delivered a torrential downpour here with a tremendous display of lightning, and close thunder. Had some pretty strong southeasterly gusts during the height of it. There's definitely a meso vortex associated with this. Just under an inch from this storm alone so far. Minimal damage to a nearby farm (you can see the debris in the video). There ended up being multiple tornado warned storms as activity moved east into Cleveland's CWA, but nothing aside from this one was confirmed. I was able to get on the storm that trailed the Malinta storm. It ended up going tornado warned, and I was able to get some good structure shots from Benton Ridge, OH as it moved off to my SE. Wall cloud is faintly visible to the right of the power lines mid frame. You can kinda make out a meso structure as well.

largetornado
Sunday may be the first of a series of active days across the subforum. Analogs have a few solid tornado events. (6/22/91, 6/6/2010, 6/4/2008) Sounding is from around indy at 21z. Not overly impressed with wind profile. Pretty veered at surface and highish LCL's. Latest disco concerned for supercells and tornadoes later. Quote ..MIDDLE MISSISSIPPI INTO LOWER OHIO VALLEYS SEVERE WEATHER POTENTIAL REMAINS A LITTLE UNCLEAR, AND MAY CONSIDERABLY HINGE ON THE EXTENT OF INSOLATION NEAR A REMNANT OUTFLOW BOUNDARY, GENERALLY EAST/SOUTHEAST OF THE ST. LOUIS METRO THROUGH PORTIONS OF SOUTHERN ILLINOIS AND INDIANA, TOWARD THE CINCINNATI AREA. BOUNDARY LAYER MOISTURE IS INITIALLY MODEST ACROSS THIS REGION, BUT MOISTENING APPEARS UNDERWAY, AS THE REMNANT MCV (CURRENTLY JUST WEST OF ST. LOUIS) PROGRESSES EASTWARD. IT IS POSSIBLE THAT STRENGTHENING WIND FIELDS/SHEAR AND DESTABILIZATION NEAR THIS BOUNDARY MAY CONTRIBUTE TO AN ENVIRONMENT CONDUCIVE TO SUPERCELLS THAT COULD POSE A RISK FOR TORNADOES BY LATE THIS AFTERNOON OR EVENING.
