The Little Storm That Could - March 3/4

Well it keeps switching from rain/sleet to sleet/snow and back again.  Making a bad situation worse.  The trees are near max load and this wet slop seems to be saturating quickly.

And now it’s swung to giant wet snowballs from heaven.

Just measured 4.6”  lost nearly half an inch in the slop line.

Gotta be the most intense CCB fronto bands we've seen since Feb '13....its obviously a lot faster moving and doesn't cover as wide an area, but that's really impressive stuff.

Yeah. That 850 fronto seems to be overwhelming everything else.

youre just north of the crazy banding down here, im just far enough north not to be mixing with sleet/rain.

Yeah.  Rates have been impressive, but not the snow-fog that I've seen in the real biggies that yielded 4+ inches/hour over the past decade.

Still all snow in HVN, and still insanely heavy, the sleet looks to be confined to southeast portion of the state...

good to hear that its all snow south of me...we seee this a lot of times in these events it will sleet and rain in sw CT because of latitude and SE CT bc they are close to the storm but south central CT remains all snow....similar to Feb 2001.
