At least 3 calls for trees on homes and numerous wires/trees into road calls. Listening to the scanner. Going to be a busy night over here in Frederick. Wild look. Wish I had the elevation to get that perspective.

Of course when the big cell gets to Glen Burnie it dies out because the circulation gets all screwed up by a pop up storm that didn't do more than rain a bit and have a couple of lightning strikes. Just our usual luck.

poolz1
Just shy of 1.25" from that one storm. Tributaries are high and muddy around the area. Will have to see if that next batch contains some decent convection as it traverses WV. We may be looking at flash flooding becoming a concern as the eve wears on... adelphi_sky
Didn't get the rain I wanted (.20). But it is what it is. There's always the fall planting season. It has been years since I've seen a real nice shelf cloud with dark green behind it. Thanks for the great pics. Would have been nice to be under one of those. I saw some pieces that could have been mistaken for a funnel with a poorer perspective.

CAPE
Shot of the storm approaching here from the end of my driveway. The rush of wind was impressive on the front end, and the power went out pretty quick. Just came back on after about an hour. Lots of tree debris and branches down but no major damage. Nice storm. 14
87storms
round two looks like it has some potential, so i'll stay in for that. round 1 was a bit of a bust here, but glad to see some cells pop for others.
CAPE
Total rainfall for the storm here was 0.85". It was going sideways though, so probably more than that fell.
