87storms
No lightning showing up with these at all. I get the impression there just isn’t enough instability up this way, but we’ll see.
NorthArlington101
TOR for Reston, embedded rotation within the line. Looks pretty solid... hard to tell because of the proximity to KLWX Looking like an embedded supercell.

Stormpc
A Big Nothing here west of Woodbridge. Like really nothing. Radar looks MUCH worse than ground truth. At least from what I have experienced all day. Under 1/2 inch of rain as well.
ErinInTheSky
This severe thunderstorm isn't amounting to much in Germantown. We really don't do severe up here very well do we?
87storms
The cell moving through the 270 split looks intriguing. Of course, I’m not there at the moment.

Kmlwx
Weak couplet went right over my parent's house in Colesville. Nothing heard/seen. County police 4D air indicated maybe something was on ground but nothing heard after that.
replaceits
Bust in Charlottesville as well. I think I heard a single rumble of thunder amid the light breezes. Rain wasn't too bad though, more than we got on Sunday at least.
BlizzardNole
LOL. A whole week of build-up to this "severe" event. Not even a single rumble of thunder.

09-10 analogy
Went up to ft Reno and looked over toward Bethesda. Definitely a shelf (?) cloud over Bethesda but no rotation as far as I could see. It’s a bit away and of course dark. Some low clouds scooting NE. If I put my imagination glasses on Ithought I might have seen a slight protuberance hanging down from the cloud but in all likelihood that was just interplay of city lights and low cloud or just an outright mirage. Nothing to sound hells bells about that’s for sure. But this was the closest tornado warning to upper NW for a (long?) while so figured it was worth a gander

Stormpc
Final daily total .46. I'm not mad, but not a gust of wind, rumble of thunder or lightning. If you told me beforehand this was going to be a normal day with some showers preceding a weak cold front I would have not known the difference. On to the next one.

AfewUniversesBelowNormal
Kind of disappointing.. you could tell earlier today with the way the clouds were low and throughout that it wasn't going to do clear enough for storm. Lifted index is -3 to -4, radar is dying out a bit.

HRRR depiction seems to have verified. My weather station died so no idea how much has fallen. I will go out and check my standard rain gauge later this morning. No wind, no thunder. As expected, the severe threat with this event was nearly non existent for our region, and would turn out to be nothing like last Sunday.
