Met1985
A pretty balanced out day for early sun to evening rain each day this week. Again we are well above average for precipitation currently but the temps for this time of year are right at average so no complaints.
Tyler Penland
Not to complain, particularly since we're not very far removed from the 2016 wildfire season, but holy cow I'm ready for a good dry stretch. Also we made it down to 49 here at the house. It was 45 over on the elk river early last Thursday morning. Nice change from the heat.

Yea, it's really hard to complain right now. Very mild for a typical mountain August. I remember last year this time thinking the humidity was insufferable.
FlatLander48
Although its been "hot" up here recently. Tomorrow I get to experience nearly 100 degrees for the first time in a couple of years. I feel like my body isnt ready to sit in the concrete oasis known as the Knights stadium. A cool wedge of high pressure will linger across the region today, but will break down ahead of an approaching cold front that will cross the area Wednesday. Drier weather is forecast behind the front until late in the weekend. Outlook: Scattered convection is expected Wed afternoon, as a cold front crosses the region from the northwest. Improving/drying conditions are expected for the latter part of the work week, while a another cold air damming event may set up for next weekend.

Buckethead
I wouldn't be a bit surprised to wake up in the 40's in the morning. This is a really nice air mass.
SnoJoe
Moved back to the hills from Salter Path yesterday because of ANOTHER hurricane. Lost the pool, gazebo, and boardwalk and steps to the beach last year. Just had all those things rebuilt this spring. Picked up our return permits before we left yesterday so I'll be going back next week. Hopefully, they won't be required. We better have a killer winter this year to make up for it.

Moonhowl
Can't believe KAVL hit 91 F on 9-9-19. IIRC Jason Boyer said that beat the maximum high temp for the months of June and August this summer.

I still believe we are going to be warm and dry for the winter months. We are just in this pattern that I think supports that type of weather for us.
