I was born and raised south of Columbia, SC. The summer up here in Wolf is like mid to late March down there. I've reached 78° once at my house here. I love it!

NRVwxfan.
I'll be soon joining you guys in the mountains. I will sure enjoy the summers a lot more. Summers are cruel and unusual punishment if you are anywhere near Columbia. Even more if you're in Columbia.

Buckethead
I'm looking forward to some great fishing weather tomorrow along the Cane, Toe and Nolichucky. I'm not looking forward to going to Columbia this weekend to put a lift kit on my Jeep though. Looks like mid 90's down there Saturday.

Nothing beats fishing mountain rivers and streams. I’ve been having good luck on Fontana past couple times I’ve been out there. Think I’ll check out some of the other lakes this week while I’m home and off work.

SnoJoe
Going to be hot here in Salter Path as well. That's why I had them put in an ocean out back. Pricey, but worth it when it heats up. My station in Yancey Co. says it's 66.9. Can that be right?
