nj2va
Forgot to use my face moisturizer that contains SPF today and got sunburned at Wisp today. Perfect day to ski considering how few people were out there and the snow we got yesterday. Great way to end the season.

87storms
exceptional start to the day. thought it would be raining by now. looks like precip will outrun the cold, but maybe the northern areas can score some flakes on the tail end.

nj2va
Cherry Blossoms are now in Phase 4 (Peduncle Elongation), which signals peak bloom is 5-10 days away. I would imagine with temps near 70/low 70s Friday and Saturday, we'll see peak bloom beginning this weekend.

There was a storm in July that rained something like 10", I've only seen it rain that hard a few times. 2-5 miles down the road it was just heavy. I was thinking about it on the way in to work this morning and wondering how big a canopy your tree is. Have you ever considered spraying with water like they do for the orange crops, or even a kerosene heater under the canopy for nights like last night? It might be more important for NEBaltZen, but also thought about his magnolia too.

Well, actually your numbers would help to 'verify' that record, so there is that. 88-90" is a PILE of moisture for one year.

GramaxRefugee
Cherry buds at my (wooded) end of the street are a long way from flower. I'll guess 2 weeks. The cherries on Mitchellville Rd were full bloom last week. Different hybrid, but still. 72 for my high today
wxdude64
A 72.7 high yesterday. I'll agree with losetoa6, almost too warm...we have 5+ months to put up with heat. Least next 24-48 hours look nice. Just enough rain last two early am's to put something in the gauge, 0.02 yesterday and 0.01 today.
