8.79” on the year, since evidently we are going to need to track this again.

At least until a dry, hot three week stretch mid-summer that kills my lawn.

3 week stretch that nukes the grass followed by endless deluge that allows the weeds to run rampant.

Ready for some dry weather.
Will probably get that in may when I need it to rain.

April will be rocking with rain with the - NAO finally kicks in ha

It’s been uncanny the last several years. Luckily for out here, we can always count on the dryline to lend us some severe risks and hellaciously dry weather

I fear not having a lawn in the spring since there's still a layer of water between my grass roots and the soil

I am eliminating my 'lawn', bit by bit.

Just doesn't work well in the woods- soil gets too dry in summer- grass burns up, then there is the moss, moles, etc. Its a disaster lol. About to put in a fire pit with stone/wood/mulch surround, sprinkled with small plants.

Same here. Way too much shade and oaks to have much grass, moss does super in the shade and north facing areas though..... About every three years I basically start over. It looks good first year and then the downfall begins lol. BTW, 15.2/4.0 here with a 9 mph wind, WC 3.6 degrees. Nice! Low was 15.0 about an hour ago.

Nasty out there, high Noon and just 24 degrees , very impressive with snow showers forming out to the far West more further North with a short term forecast about them from Mount Holly a little ago.

Friday looks colder in the Northern parts with that snow potential.  a mini mid-winter run here.

I am up in Warrensburg NY. Got about 4 inches last night on top of the foot they already have.

A place where a real winter happens. I can't wait to move out of the MA.

Raining down there?

Yup. All night. I've never seen such mud in my life. I'd love to live where real winter happens.
