LP08
I will say this, Friday is turning into a pretty miserable day with the trend of the coastal affecting the region in the afternoon into the overnight Saturday. Both Nams and now the Icon show low to mid 30's and rain for the cities and further nw probably some frozen most of the day.

BaltimoreWxGuy
GFS not as impressive. Maybe it’s just noise but definitely less QPF in Maryland

baltimoreguy
So I'm driving out of North Baltimore tomorrow morning to Boston. Need to be there by 3:30 p.m., preferably earlier. It usually takes about 6.5 hours, so I was thinking I'd just hit the road at 6 a.m., so that the sun's almost up, and I'd deal with any snow that I hit before it dissipates somewhere in New Jersey. Think that's still a viable plan? Kind of starting to wonder if I should wait until 8 or 9, and let the snow end before setting out. I have all-wheel drive. showmethesnow
Euro snowfall by 18Z (kuchera) is setting up the 2 inch + line just north of Balt's latitude. WE see 3-3 1/2 totals on the PA line. eta: sorry the 2 inch line sets up in the northern portion of balt city. 1

Weather Will
Looks like about .2-.3 inch of liquid in Northern areas. Only about .1 around DC. There is also a JI slot, I mean dry slot in NW VA....:)

showmethesnow
Not sure what to say. But we are now seeing a massive blow up of precip to our south (hr 36) in S Va and N Carolina that was not on the previous run.

I’m the biggest weenie there is but i think South of the MD/PA line will be lucky to see a snow shower or two. Hope I’m wrong of course.
showmethesnow
Definitely have seen a significant shift in regards to the Friday night/sat morning potential coastal. We are seeing a blow up of precip to our south and southeast that was not on the previous run. Overall I think the Euro took a pretty good step forward as far as potential for our region.
