CoastalWx
Inland this is defintely higher tier. You don’t see many 45-55kt obs inland. Like ever. I’ve seen this in coastals, but the interior hasn’t seen many. I think last time was October 2017.

And greatest pressure falls are just moving into the area so while they may not be as frequent with sunset, big, rogue gusts are still possible. Well yea 90 mph out of the se will trump any 55 mph nw gust anytime but gusts were near 60 pretty far inland. Not arguing but that storm certainly was more damaging even way inland as shown in the PNS reports

wxmanmitch
Big winds today here, like a lot of places. I've lost a couple of trees, one a dead balsam and another red spruce (pictured). Both fell away from the house. Still getting some lake effect action, but it's not really accumulating. There was around 2" last night, as best I can tell with all of the blowing and drifting. Sn0waddict
Guess it was an inland thing. Didn’t even gust to 50 at BDR.
CT Valley Snowman
BDL top gust was 55 mph, probably similar or a bit less here. 64 mph in Westfield and 76 mph on the top of Mount Tom are pretty impressive for this general geographic region.
