Should rapidly go down hill from there... Huge lake drop in Toledo already taking place...

Think NWS was a bit fast in their timing. They had winds picking up around noon and peaking at the worst from 2-6 ish. Most models were 2-4 hours slower with the worst winds not hitting until 4-8pm ish time frame. Not sure if the sunshine effect that was to enhance the mixing would be somewhat muted as we are now closer to sunset then midday?

Winds are weak sauce in Hamburg right now. Maybe gusting to 50 or so, however I’m sure it’s stronger right on the lakeshore. I think this is gonna fall way short of expectations for most... which isn’t nessecarly a bad thing from a damage standpoint.

City is getting crushed. Fire scanner is non stop with calls right now with wires down trees into houses...

Travel advisory for all of Erie county. First time I’ve seen that for winds

Seiche is going to end up a bit weak sauce in the end. Wont rival the over 11 ft event from jan 2008. Its leveling off now. The wind shift speed change wasnt abrupt and violent enough to be ideal.
