WmsptWx
Yeah. The area where that cell is going through is heavily forested. It's going right through Blacklog Creek area, which connects Orbisonia to Mifflintown. If a tornado were to touchdown, it would be a genocide for muskrats. canderson
Storms might actually mostly miss HBG unless it backbuilds to the direct south. Everything is west and they are moving almost due north.

WmsptWx
Another one coming for Franklin county. The May 2011 event featured multiple tornadic storms in that area. Crazy.

We had some type of gust line go over about 15 min ago when the couplet went just to our west. I did not hear any train sounds or other signs beyond the wind sound. That pic jns put up...was that a different tornado earlier?

Most of that line to the west misses to the west of the Susquehanna as well as my area per the HRRR. Not sure what to make of the less organized cluster to the south. Will that make it into the areas missed by the line and will there be any lightning with it?

WmsptWx
This is a barn along US 522 near the Huntingdon county/Fulton county line. I have yet to reach confirmation on this, but I'm fairly certain this barn was where a local woman was held hostage for a week back in the 60s. Edit: Not the same barn. Anduril
I guess the cloud cover we kept for most of the day did hinder things. Lots of rain and some wind but between Carlisle and camp Hill no thunder or lightning
Voyager
Looks like the guidance I mentioned last night (for my area anyway) appears to be correct. Sitting at 0.70" currently. I doubt I even make it to one inch. A far cry from the 2-3 that the NWS was forecasting.
