I'll be asked in the next day or two... Looks messy. Frozen at first at this moment but definitely ends as rain. Tons of time.
paweather5
Good many tree and wires down in York. I think I am pushing around 4 inches so far.

daxx
Heavy snow falling now. Flake structure has greatly improved from earlier.
Bubbler86
R/S Line seems to be charging north in far Eastern PA and NJ. Would suggest to me that the we see faster pressure drops near the DelMarVa and Lanco gets theres.
Itstrainingtime
It's dumping here. I like to make official observations but I'll allow myself that one.

Blizzard of 93
Same here in Marysville. Best flake size & best rates so far. The latest hourly HRRR run still has another 4 to 5 inches to go on top of what we already have in Harrisburg, York & Lancaster!

Cashtown_Coop
@bubbler86 The band set up shop over you. You must be pushing 7” by now

Not sure it could snow much harder than this.

Bubbler86
Unfortunately the aforementioned tornadoes have killed " a dozen plus" down south.

I noticed the heaviest returns go toward you and then have faded back some. The LWX radar I had just peaked at looked like they were over you though. Could always be issues with the angles...CTP radar does not work so well for my area so I have to watch LWX if any of the NWS sites.
CarlislePaWx
9:00pm Ob...Temp 31.3. Snowing moderately. Only picked up an additional 0.5" last hour for a storm total of 4.0". I think a little compaction may be starting to occur with the temp so close to freezing and the snow so wet. I can see the back edge appearing southwest down around Cumberland MD. Only need 1.4". Cmon' storm, you can do it!
Bubbler86
And there is our low a tad North of the VA Capes. Almost an exact duplicate of Friday nights location.

I’ll watch state college once in a while for a line of tstorms dropping down but that’s it. The best radar for us lsv folks was when wgal had their live Doppler 8. That had a lower angle and showed great banding detail and had very little virga returns. @AllWeather any plans on making that operational anymore? I just measured the snow and I would say 6.75. I do not think it is compacting too much. Might make 7 but probably not 8.
canderson
Pushing 4.25”. It piled quickly.
CarlislePaWx
I think I'm in my "last gasp" of highest rates. It has ramped up to almost heavy, meaning close to inch/hour, but it's not going to go on for the next hour looking at the radar. That back edge is rapidly advancing northeastward. Don't forget to add your 3/1 and 3/2 totals to your signature (in case you don't write them down). I like to follow you as we've been neck and neck all winter. That thought you had yesterday, about 3 consectuve measureables at MDT, is going to look pretty cool when we look back at records years from now. Will we remember the first two basically melted off in a day, not sure, but looks like one great stretch of March.

Kinda wild with a winter of basically nothing but cutters Harrisburg will have ~40” snow. Go figure!
