Question is whether the heavies coming out of WVA beat back the mixing like some models showed yesterday or usher it in. I think and hope it beats it back and then once it passes we flip.

snow to mix/rain is never ideal, but it's easy to forget it's feb 20.  this winter flew by, partly because it hasn't been a strong winter overall.  got a couple good storms out of it, though.  not bad considering we never really got into a prolonged deep freeze.  maybe we can weasel our way into another event in a week or two.

I've compacted down to 2.6 with the sleet and frz rain the past hour. So you are really not far off. Compaction has begun. Heavier returns to our West may be interesting. Hopefully it cools the column.
