Nada in New Haven. Zilch. Nothing at all, and radar is not encouraging... Not that I care, all that much - ok, I suppose I must care a little or I wouldn't be looking at this thread, but I have nothing invested emotionally, and no expectations.

Radar should fill in next couple hours and we change to snow then back to a mix. Probably looking at C-2 right now.

Going to be a sharp gradient over CT from several inches to almost nothing.

I got porked out of that....just brushed to the south.

Wilmington probably got an inch.

That 30-35dbz stuff that came through might have been the heaviest non-squall snow of the season. Definitely an overperformance compared to the 6z soundings on HRRRs / NAMs. 

0z Euro steady for our area, feel good about 3-5.

Radar and obs in here say this is pretty spotty so far. We got the best of this opening bolus. Per HRRR, it moves out over next hour, but then rebuilds and spreads out after 9z.

Yeah definitely overperformance for the opening 2 hours in our area... I would not have expected such good snowgrowth looking at HRRR/NAM soundings. Not sure if it's ocean enhancement either, not much easterly flow at any level yet. Monday is a different story.

This current batch looks to wind down pretty soon on radar. The ragged appearance most of SNE is real, but HRRR / RAP say it rebuilds in a few hours (like after 9z or so) and we have several multi-hour windows of good snow early morning and at times Monday. And OE I think will be a boost tomorrow.

Very heavy convective precipitation moving through western and central CT, heavier snow over the Cape right now.  Moisture is connected to the GOM on a huge powerful sub-tropical jet streak over 100 knots.  Precipitation will develop over eastern PA and NYC region and move into our area.

A secondary low is just developing now, watch this system take over and produce its own precipitation shield that reaches into our region after 10z.

It's gotta be at least that by you. It was ripping in that general area for a good 2 hours around 0030-0230.
