crypt88
It appears that this winter was mostly hype and did not deliver as advertised. The long range models have been really bad and have since changed to inaccurate forecasts beyond a 4 day period. Feb. here on east coast was forecast to be brutally cold and it has been anything but that. The long range models should have been flipped from West coast to East coast and it would have been much more telling to what has actually happened this winter. I think the ground hog had the best forecast thus far for the winter spring outlook of 2019. Back to the drawing board for these long range models, which rarely seem to be right.. penndotguy
I guess the 2nd half of February into March might get interesting, but yeah it’s not looking good I sit at 13.75” inches so far counting November of course so not horrible but with all the hype it seems like a bust. Ralph Wiggum
Outside of a late season fluke storm this season will end up BN in snowfall for SE PA and along I95 points S and E unless you are far N and W where they look to pad their totals over the next couple of weeks. I know coming in I saw some red flags but even during early Jan it started looking like the calls for cold and very snowy would possibly verify. Sitting here at just over 25% of my seasonal snowfall avg. It still isnt over yet tho but umm yeah. Smh.
