dryslot
Its been bad, But the Reggie at 12z was certainly better then the 06z clown map, Just the fact the Meso's seem to be trending better is a plus, There is some sleet in there too. ORH_wxman
RPM also trended colder on the front end. I think we'll see some initial resistance to the sleet line in northeast areas.
HoarfrostHubb
What time do people think this will be ending? Looks like 5AM or so for most of the precip to be done on the NAM, besides that amazing backside stuff
WxBlue
I've been telling people here to expect 4-8" before sleet move in. I have a hard time trusting higher amounts when we kept underperforming our events this winter. Plus, 3-km NAM isn't too excited about us getting more than 6". Yeah...I am thinking 4-6" for my area with a bit of sleet to pack it down...Will look nice for 2 days at least

Elevation will likely be key here and I am banking on the fact my WRF runs are correct. Lost the canopy of one of my trees Friday night, so a little worried with freezing rain what it will do to the rest of the tree...

ORH_wxman
Man. GFS is frigid in midlevels. Warmest layer at BOS is like -3.5C at 00z while the NAM is just starting to ping there at that time. I would believe the NAM sounding more but even if it was a 70/30 or 80/20 compromise, that matters a lot for those areas.

GFS dropping 4-6" in TAN area vs the NAM 2-3"
