...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM EST
TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Snow, sleet and freezing rain expected. Total snow and
  sleet accumulations of up to two inches today. Ice
  accumulations of one to two tenths of an inch possible tonight.

* WHERE...Northern Baltimore, Carroll, Frederick MD, Washington
  and Northwest Harford Counties.

* WHEN...Until 10 AM EST Tuesday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The
  hazardous conditions will impact the evening and morning
  commute.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Expect slippery
roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.

When venturing outside, watch your first few steps taken on
steps, sidewalks, and driveways, which could be icy and slippery,
increasing your risk of a fall.

Based off SPC meso analysis, it appears as though the 925mb temps have trended cooler over the past 2 to 3 hours. The 0° line is now draped along the Potomac River to US 50.  The 850 0° seems to be between the I-270 and I-70 corridor and has kinda stalled out.  Just a nudge further south of may 20 miles would be a big boom for a lot of folks tonight.

The mix line has literally been stationary for hours on end.
