He texted me and asked to come to my house. So much fun. Oh most definitely, even at 770 feet a few miles away didn't have any icing like you did. Gotta love the micro-climates we have in our area sometimes.

Yup been doing that for years. Pick something under 1mb.

But it's free so I can't complain i guess. Why not just use Imgur like most folks ? Just download the app and it works like a charm .

Posting images from phones is a pain in the ass. I find myself editing the photo and cropping it slightly and that seems to work.

rimetree
Not much freezing rain in PSM but woke to about .25 inch of sleet. Hovered at like 32.2-32.4 all night.
wxmanmitch
I rot at 33° F and fog while Bennington on the other side of the mountain is 45°+ F with partly cloudy skies! What a drastic difference! It has tried to clear with the silhouette of the sun poking through the fog at times, but it has not succeeded. Even Woodford has been flirting with 40° F. There's still some residual glaze left on the trees, but it warmed up just enough to get most of it off. There was about 1/4 to 1/3" of accretion, which was enough for the tree branches to sag, but not any damage. A couple of photos from earlier. If you have an iPhone just take a screenshot of the picture and the new file will be much smaller

weathafella
On our way to JFK we passed through the hills west of ORH and there was pretty nice glaze in the trees. It was kind of perfect in that it was pretty and low impact.

Judging by social media posts there was some great undercast near you. Mount Snow was above the clouds apparently, while the lower elevations were iced, based on friends photos. Looks well above freezing at the summits, enough to fully melt the ice/rime/snow that might have been on the trees. Lower mountain below the inversion. Whineminster
Stilll holding on to the trees at my hood, but down in FIT here it's nothing. It was gone yesterday afternoon. Looks like about 900 feet was the cut-off.
