More than is being thought and you will be all cheerful and smiley!

Nah. He has some kind of mental thing about Leesburg being better than the Winchester area for snow. He cant smile.

Nexrad is pretty juicy. The mountains will eat some of it up. But this looks pretty decent.

He probably thinks it’s headed for hattaras and gonna pull a jan 25 2000

Nope. Right over top of us with 9-12 hours of 0.25ph.

My big question is temps from 11am until it end. We don’t have a sun issue but sun is different than 2-4 weeks ago. So at 28+ the very light snow just won’t accumulate. But, if we are 25/26 I think it overcomes and would get an inch in that time frame.

I agree...looking healthier than I expected.  Also surprised at the reports of snow not too long after returns move in....looks like less than an hour lost to virga.  Pretty surprising given the airmass...

Are you out west tonight? Looks like a pretty decent event for that area.

Yeah, drove up tonight and working from here tomorrow.  Should be good for about 5”.  I’ll try not to rob too much moisture from the Winchester crew ;).  Seriously though, hope you can see 1-2”...it’d be a nice cap to a 2 week period for your area.

Mattie would be proud of all the MD school districts. They obviously all teleconferenced and decided to stand as one. Not a single delay or closing east of Allegeny county.

The afternoon may be a different story.

Wonder if they decided they could get everyone to school before any issues. But yeah, afternoon might be more challenging.
