weatherwiz
What would be cool is if we could add an automated countdown clock to the banner at the top of the sub-forum.

Torch Tiger
Hopefully we can keep an active N jet and cool air hanging around Canada and the N tier for May/June.

weatherwiz
44 days! Going to update the countdown every Monday morning until we get to 10 days then it will be daily. It's like watching the ball drop in slow motion.
dendrite
Should be fun. I’m anxiously awaiting that high of 45° with a low of 38° with 0.21” of rain and drizzle.

weatherwiz
It should also be noted I have had a LOT of convective dreams lately...usually a good indicator severe season is not only approaching, but a good indicator it may be active. Aspen should be showing green by then, and some foreast floor blooms like trout lilies, but 5/1 is too early for much else here. The one year (2010) when apple blossoms opened during the 1st week of May, they got fried by 3 days of low-mid 20s late in week 2. No apple butter that year. Torch Tiger
Much like the tropics, it just takes one good event to make a severe season worthy. Lets hope luck is on our side and we can cash in with a large damage swath.

Nothing says summer like having major home damage and having to deal with insurance companies and contractors. And living out of a roadside motel in scenic Billerica. Now that is what I call a summer of yore...…….
