CNY-WXFREAK
I think that includes the pretty intense lake band their expecting to develop sometime on Wednesday so we'll see but their pegging Central and Southern Oswego Cty and the central and Southern Tug. I'll be happy with 6-10" tbh as my expectations are real low right now so we'll see.

I think the media got them concerned about conditions this afternoon when the kids would be coming home. Just about every school in CNY is closed today. Syracuse City School District closed last night!

CNY-WXFREAK
Tell you guys one thing, its coming in like a wall, the snow that is so its not gonna take long to ramp up and to saturate so it's right on our doorstep!

Actually, it will be far worse this afternoon. Obviously this a.m. nothing happening yet. So a 2 hr delay just guarantees everyone going home at height of storm. Buckeyes_Suck
moderate to heavy rain just south of buffalo, some sleet mixed in. 27°F
CNY-WXFREAK
Snows already flyin here, as it didn't take long at all for saturation like I thought! Won't take long now for things to really ramp up. Haven't even looked at sn growth so I hope its decent accumulating type flakes, cause if not, it'll be another wasted synoptic event to columns and plates instead of dendrites! lakeeffectkid383
29 at work in Hamburg with almost pure rain (little sleet mixed in) meanwhile at home in West Seneca it looks like mostly snow and sleet with a temp of 23 degrees.
wolfie09
If it's not one thing it's another lol Hrrr the last several runs has us fighting dry air or something (lol) from central oswego county north, guess from that big departing HP lol Only positive is keeps us snow till 7 pm.. BuffaloWeather
Freezing rain here and 30 degrees. about 1/2" of snow/sleet before changeover. Should be over to rain in a few hours. Like I said a non event here. You don't get a storm track like that and get a good snowstorm or ice storm.
CNY-LES FREAK
Uh oh as I just sit here at Byrne Dairy in Phoenix waiting for the flakes to start growing in size but their not, lol. Pixie dust garbage falling right now and I hope it changes cause last time it didnt and we wound up with 8 measly inches while everyone else and their Mother got crushed.Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

CNY_WX
Snow is picking up in intensity but still lousy flake size. Deeper moisture is moving in from the south.
Syrmax
Snowing steady downtown SYR. We were told we can leave at lunchtime. Which is right in the height of the storm. Itll be over by normal quitting time of 4pm. SMH.
Syrmax
Does anyone think this has a chance of verifying? 11" in Syracuse? With no wraparound of any significance this looks overdone by a factor of almost 2. It's going to snow for like 4 or 5 hours...and we're already almost an hour into it with no accumulation to speak of.
DeltaT13
Great flake quality here with heavy snow but the end is already in sight. You can see it on radar as the warmth surges North. All eyes on these thicknesses today.
CNY_WX
Snow is probably falling moderately now. Not the greatest of flake size but bett than is was. Temperature is still 17.
