CNY-WXFREAK
I'm still skeptical bro and its on our doorstep, lol, as I think just to our North cash's in big time while I sit here with occasional squalls from time to time but we'll see. CNY-WXFREAK
It most certainly is, that one I have to give ya, lol! There could be some 12+ totals right in the middle on that band wherever it end up but a definitely nice event shaping up if it comes to fruition. I've just seen these things , in the last minute just shift by 10 miles either way so I hate being in the jack even 10 hrs out of a LE event, lol!
CNY-WXFREAK
Looks like there's a nice connection to Huron and GB but I thought GB was iced over so maybe I'm wrong.
CNY-WXFREAK
Even the RRGEM is in the slot so we may actually be in the midst of a decent event finally here in the Fulton area, wow, can you imagine the look on ppl's faces when they actually have to use the blower this yr for once, lol!
TugHillMatt
This might be your hit. Enjoy it, Freak. Still have a solid snow pack that survived this thaw of a week. Gone under thick pine trees.
CNY-WXFREAK
I still think Oswego Jacks with even the possibility of some Thunder within the heart of the band just as it hits the shoreline as the air coming over this relatively warm water for this time of yr, lapse rates are going to be through the roof for sure! wolfie09
Yup same here, as of 12z yesterday NERFC still had a snow depth of 8"-10 imby ", I would say we lost about half of that due to the rain/warmth..I would estimate 3"-4" left..
wolfie09
Marquette area was my dream spot as a kid, instead had to settle for Oswego county lol
BuffaloWeather
I would hate the cold up there in winter and even in the summer they have temps in the 60s. Sounds disgusting to me. I'd rather move to Florida then the UP. 1 1
BuffaloWeather
Some really heavy snow just south of here. Definitely quite a few open pockets on the lake.

SouthBuffaloSteve
This was from 4 days ago of the two areas of open water. I really thought the area along the south shore would have closed up with the ice shifting west to east..

It’s looking like a quick front end thump followed by a period of mixing the length of which will depend on how quickly the secondary low can ramp up. Then we should get some wrap around snows on the backside. I would be happy with 6 inches in that scenario.

wolfie09
We may have to deal with some slop in the middle but models are starting to hone in on a nice front end thump with some wraparound/enhancement on the backside.
BuffaloWeather
Haven't been skiing or boarding yet this year so hoping for a few more storms before we switch to spring.

The fact that Redfield takes GREAT care of the snow covered roads has also helped her relax a bit. The most taxing thing has been having to drive 20 to 40 minutes to the closest towns. But that time is much more peaceful than having to drive through crowded suburbs for 20 to 40 minutes! I love the nearby town of Camden...and the best grocery store ever...Aldi...is 25 minutes away in Pulaski.

I get enough snow to keep me satisfied and I don't sacrifice any major conveniences. Last night I got hungry at 930 and went and got 2 slices of pizza down the street. I have a 24 hour walmart a mile away and a major thruway 1/2 mile away. We have 2 aldis within a 5 minute drive from here, and I agree its the best grocery store aside from Wegmans which is the best in the country is a few minutes away too.
wolfie09
So the euro is a good front end thump followed by a decent amount of ice.Plenty of wraparound moisture which is probably higher then 10-1..
