CNY-LES FREAK
RLMAO, What a shame, NWS should embarrassed by their performance, simply horrific is all I have to say. DeltaT13
About 3.5 inches in my backyard, they were forecasting 4" so a decent forecast all things considered. Was hoping we would bust high. At least there was no rain or freezing rain mixed in. Just a nice normal snowfall.

TugHillMatt
4 inches of a beautiful, fluffy snowfall here. The thing I love about late winter snows is you can get some nice looking dendrites.
Revracer800
About 2" of fluff down here Hannibal. Snowing lightly but not adding up. With the wind and a temp of 20 is sure does feel pretty cold out brrrrr.
Thinksnow18
4.2" measured at 8:45 when I left for the office this morning in Williamsville. Dead on with forecast. Looking like another bi-polar weather week ahead.
wolfie09
See you in a couple weeks lol Hopefully one last gasp at winter.. Looks like a good 3-4 "bermuda highs" over the next 10 days or so..

rochesterdave
4” here. Still snowing lightly. No over performing here. You just can’t bet against model consensus. They saw that the two energies were going to miss linking and dropped totals. I should of done the same. I’m embarrassed. Lol

rochesterdave
It IS a beautiful winter day. 4+” of fresh on top of 2” of crust. Big fluffy dendrites falling on a gentle wind at 24F. Take what I can get because the next few look like unmitigated disasters.
rochesterdave
The only place I see any hope. It’s trying to weaken the ****ing SE ridge while pushing a western based High Pressure lobe SE just a touch. We’d need the LP to track 200 miles SE which in this winter is like asking for a miracle. As soon as the storm moves out of the Rockies the whole jet just buckles and sends it right over Detroit. Have we seen this before? Hmmm. Recently? I can’t recal anything like that?

TugHillMatt
Drove down to my parents house in PA last night to bring some boxes to their basement. Really not much snow on the ground once we got out of Oswego county. Hit some nice snow showers between Cicero and Mattydale. Was a bit surprised at how little the Binghamton area has. Once you get out of the valley there the snow increased. Scranton had more than them.
