clskinsfan
Down to light snow here. That back edge is looming out by Deep Creek. Time to start tracking the temperature drop. Down to 28 here from a high of 32 today. Maybe another 2 hours of light snow left for me. Should hopefully get me to 2 inches for this event. You guys to east should snow through the rest of the evening. Enjoy!

Rhode Islander in Balto
SN+ in Parkville, just turned back over to 100% snow in the last 20 minutes or so, and grassy surfaces are caving quickly.....temps and DP finally crashing, now 33.6 / 32. If we can keep this up for 4 or 5 hours, this could end up over performing.

We had 10 minutes of that here and it was pretty incredible. I imagine that's what lake effect snow is like, those type of rates except for many hours. osfan24
Need the back edge to slow down. I hope it slows down like some of those fronts in the summer time as they approach the metro areas and just linger. So many times there is a line of rain and storms coming through during an O's game and they wait it out only to eventually postpone two hours later when it becomes apparent the line is marching forward super slowly. SomeguyfromTakomaPark
19z HRRR brings the back edge through DC around 0z/1z. You’d think even inside the metro we’d be able to accumulate especially when it gets dark.
