In fact, I think the Euro snowmap I saw earlier gave DC, Baltimore and Philly 3-4in while less than half an inch for Boston. Just that type of winter up here. It just doesn’t want to snow

BombsAway1288
WSWatch up for Atlanta! Even though their criteria is a lot lower, they’re expecting 2” of snow. They’re going to get more than Boston not only for this storm, which is sad enough, but they’ll probably end up with a higher season total after this storm than Logan. This is getting really sad and pathetic

weathafella
The fact that DC is doing better total wise vs Boston doesn’t bother me in the least. If we can dodge the flakes for another week I’m pulling hard for a new futility record.

CoastalWx
Looks like 00z euro cut back a bit in SNE. Only in this winter would the low develop over ORH and not further SE where the real baroclinic action will be.

The further east you are, they get almost dryslotted.

CoastalWx
Some of the mesos have a nice CF up in NE MA stretching SW. That's probably going to help keep it snow a bit SE of where even the euro has it. Like Will said, more of a matter of QPF in some areas as they dryslot a bit, esp inside of 495. weathafella
Yes the biggest issue now is the lack of qpf. Certainly cold enough outside of 495 and north of the pike.
