Looks more and more legit though caution is warranted. This week is more or less our January thaw.

Beautiful out there. 59 degrees here...feels great. But it's short lived it seems. Hope the EPS is on to something?? Be nice to have some Snowstorms this second half of winter.

Still troughy in the WC at D7, better look after. That’s LR to me, esp in this ‘looks good next week but never wins’ winter.

It's showing at like 34F but that could easily be 29-30F. Something to watch. It does have some icing for Wednesday night/early Thursday over the interior of MA and N CT. Thats a pretty good ice storm for Berks ORH county down to Kevin and NE Mass. Could see .5 to .75 accretion with near and over an inch of precip

CoastalWx
Looks like some ice at BOS too. Maybe one day we’ll get 1-3” of all snow?

Ginx snewx
Interesting that there is little talk about the ice. Probably will end up being the best of the season for Central SNE

WinterWolf
I think if tonight’s and overnight runs show it still/or increase the threat, then more widespread talk wil occur. Still could go either way for most I’m thinking..and after today’s warmth, it kind of kills interest in anything wintry..
Typhoon Tip
Will and I have been covering the ice potential for days ... wtf - Boy, that GFS para run at 18z was a dream wave... God I love those waves that break that way.. The beauty of that whole evolution is that the flow over Florida and adjacent areas is actually relaxed/compressible ... probably the first time this year I've personally seen that... There's no inhibition on that wave. It's only D7/8 too ... ha! only ... Still, better than a D10er

OSUmetstud
Well, looks like the weeklies finally caved to persistence and went away from epic looks and -nao. Still looks decent, but different than it has the last few weeks.
