So why is Anthony saying it looks good?   He knows the differences...

It was very stormy and cold. It was definitely a good run. There's still a western trough most of the time but we end up on the cold side of each system. That's the way it could go...Feb '14/Feb '94 versus something way worse. Flip a coin.

Ok thanks for the explanation.  Berg's response was misleading....

I think it depends on whether you're looking at it half glass full or glass half empty.

There's def a risk for cutters. But there's also a lot of cold oozing down from Canada. That's what gradient patterns like this do. I think most of us have been around long enough to see how they can go really well or how they can fail. The EPS has stronger EPO blocking so they would try to favor colder than the GFS products...but you still have plenty of chances even on the GFS runs.

This isn't a +PNA "cold/dry or snowstorm with no risk of cutters" pattern.

Yes. I’ll take the seasonal middle finger and lean gradient stays north of populated locals. All I’m saying. Snow88 lives on the ocean and DIT just finds ways to make it ASATT which, this season, he’s striking out at a Joey Galo rate.

Will's explanation sums it up perfectly.  The Chances will be there...but there is risk as well.  I'm not thinking anything fantastic...the winter has shown it's hand imo, but we could get a break??  If we stay on the side we've been on, it's game over; which is a distinct possibility as well.

Most cherry pick the cold and snowy frames. I don’t like the look at all. Low level cold in marginal situations leads to sloppy events, I’ll pass.

You’re a purist.  I’ll take what I get.  I bet your doggie frolicks in the snow soon.

This winter has been MIA much like the Rams offense was yesterday. Not surprised at either.

Right. The op was not ‘very good’ as Snow88 lead you believe. That would imply favorable epo/pna with some hints of nao. Not there.
