I'll be conservative and call it .75" with main squall line. Still snowing 15.7° I measured .75" out there. Down to 19 with a biting wind.

Cfa
33 and cloudy now with winds picking up, snow should be here in ~30 minutes. It’ll be interesting to see how this compares with the 12/24/13 snow squall in Suffolk, which is my #1 snow event. 5 inches fell in 40 minutes, it came in like a haboob. SnoSki14
Wow what a drive this was, complete whiteout conditions. Best squall I've ever seen. Temps plunged from 33F to 21F.

I was trying to remember when Suffolk had that insane snow squall. It was early evening wasn’t it? Didn’t realize anyone got that much

jr461
Don't think we got the worst of it in Oradell, NJ (just east of Paramus). Heavy snow and wind for about 10 min with lighter to moderate for about 5-10 minutes on either side of it. One lane road in each direction is just wet with traffic moving well. CIK62
Question. In your opinion---Was this little snow-show meant to entertain us for the next 15 days or so, or for the next 10 months? Place your bets in this topic area, I guess. Was at least as exciting as the Cyclone at about 3:42pm here. Whiteout on a southerly wind. Less than an inch, I think. More bytes may have been consumed writing about it, than snowflakes that actually fell from the sky.
