BlunderStorm
I like the look of that because of the small window I have for snow mid-morning.
John1122
After what seemed to be about 200 model runs showing 1-5+ inches of snow for a large part of the region, plus freezing rain etc. I ended up with 1/4 inch of sleet/snow mixed. It was enough to delay school here 2 hours.

John1122
MRX has put slight chances of snow back into the forecast for tonight, at least for my area, and Saturday night/Sunday as well. Hopefully we can get some accumulations from those events, though it's not terribly likely to be more than a dusting at this point.

Based on the streamers showing up on KMRX, that's likely the case.
Shocker0
This is Crossville this morning. A bit icy too. They actually had school open and on time here but all the areas around were closed or delayed. I noticed they've been getting stricter on closing schools here
Holston_River_Rambler
Downright wintry here near downtown Knoxville now. Light snow, windy, cold.
Shocker0
I had to travel to Fentress County this morning around 9am and seeing the main road by my house covered in snow made me even more surprised that they had school in Cumberland County today, let alone on time. It was really slick with ice under a lot of the snow from all the rain yesterday. I was very surprised they didn't cancel after driving in it. PowellVolz
Downright wintry here near downtown Knoxville now. Light snow, windy, cold. I had some pretty heavy snow about 6:15 this morning. After about 15 min or so it started laying but quit not long after that in Halls .

We started 2 hours late to give some time to see what was going to happen and once the freezing drizzle and snow came off and on the roads got like that here and they cancelled. John1122
Not sure if it will amount to much, but the NWS now has a 50 percent chance of snow here Sat night - Sunday night, possibly switching to rain during Saturday afternoon. Will see if it happens. The models were really over amping this period 3-5 days out. The threat for Tuesday feels more real but I'm always skittish until the snow starts falling.
