djr5001
Just measured 1.3” on my board and driveway has maybe .3” (northern Enola) - there is not much moisture in these flakes at all so ratios could very well be close to 20:1. Radar looks great but other than a period of larger flakes earlier it is really not coming down the way radar makes it look like it should be. Bubbler86
Just tapering off here. Ended up with 2.5" measurable on side surfaces and about 1/2" estimated of melt. Roads never became covered despite temps in the upper 20's.

It was probably the fluffiest snowfall all winter so far. Snow growth must be in the right spot for good ratios.

CarlislePaWx
Well, I did get another 1/2" to end with 1.4" total and 19.2" for the season so far. Guess we'll see what the squalls have to offer tomorrow, if anything before the plunge sets in.
Voyager
I'll do a final measurement once the back edge swings through. It sure does look like it will stop abruptly once it does. Eyeballing things, it looks almost as if I doubled my previous measurement. We've had good rates and big flakes for the past two hours. The sidewalks were shoveled once, and the plow had gone down the street, but the vehicles are untouched.
Bubbler86
Two fairly reliable reports of 5-6" in Northern York County. Apparently a band of 2" per hour type rates set up there for over an hour.
pasnownut
Probably 4. to 4.5 here. Great event. At least we keep it thru Monday then see where we go later next week.
JTrout
3-3.5 just outside of Lancaster City(Rohrstown Rd). I will measure in Etown when I get home.

pawatch
2.5" here...Nickel - dimed it today, it stopped and then would start snowing again. that was the pattern all day long. High 29 degrees here. Enough snow to run the blower today just to keep my drive clear before the cold comes in.

Blizzard of 93
I ended up with around 3 in Marysville. The Euro was locked in on this one for several days. MDT recorded 3.6 through the 5 pm daily update, & will probably add on another .5 or so that came down after 5pm before ending in the last hour or so. Very nice light to moderate event for all ! canderson
3.5” or so of the fluffiest snow I’ve ever seen I think in midtown hbg. Overperformer in my mind. Bring on the Arctic air!

Bring on the Arctic air! Congrats. What a difference 20 miles East-West made with this one. 1.4" for me and 3.8" for you. The models consistently said the drop off would occur just west of the river and they appear to have been right. Oh well, at least my ground is white again and the forest behind me is all covered. Very picturesque...until the howling winds arrive tomorrow morning.

Wow, so strange. We got 2 1/2" and the rates were there but it would never stick here. I saw webcams down in Hagerstown and it did not stick on those roads either.
