They’ve dropped the WWA from 3-6 to 2-4 and hbg to 1-3 (was 2-4 earlier tonight(p). HRRR looks horrid, rain at Cashtown nearly.

Adams, York & Lancaster are 2-4 as well in the update for those counties.

We just got bumped down.

The reductions are most notable back here in the central/south central counties, AOO went from 2-3 range to <1 and UNV went from like  4 to maybe 1 or so. Although I'm sporting a nice 6-7" glacier pack as is so I don't expect anyone to feel bad for me haha.

I think these maps are automated depending on whatever the NAM spits out every 6 hours.

No there would be more than that going into generating those products with them having percentile and probability maps to look at. They likely utilize short range ensemble data like the SREF and HREF plus WPC's products.

Actually, in perusing the nearby CWA's, they all bumped down totals in PA. The 6-8 range over the Poconos Mount Holly was showing has pretty much vanished in favor of a widespread 4-6, and even Binghamton lowered everything in most of NEPA and southern NY state.

I guess some last minute shifts in either qpf and/or position of the front and developing wave are the culprits.

Not sure how anyone could get 6-8 from a fropa. There is a secondary pop and that’s what bumps up totals for the east (including me as I’m now at 4-6”). It’s why these deals never get me giddy. Will be happy with whatever comes though. I’m still close to the fail line for that too.
