PWMan
Curious to see if we ever get back to snow here. Glad we don’t have ZR and realize that others have had it worse this season, but this has been an undeniable disappointment snow-wise coming after days and days of forecast agreement around double-digit totals here. Easily over an inch of it now and coming down moderately. Pingers everywhere! I was expecting plain rain right on the coast up here. Heard on TWC a plow guy get interviewed in Downtown Boston. Said they were expecting flooding rains and rapid freeze. Then he said it only rained for 25 mins and a quick transition to sleet. I know Logan was reporting temps in the mid 30’s at some point this morning. I bet there was a pretty good temp gradient between Downtown Boston and the Logan ASOS which is at the end of one of the runways, right on the water if I’m not mistaken

wxmanmitch
Back over to all snow now, maybe I get another quick 1/2-1". Albany looks like they had a N wind overnight, so maybe they had some upslope enhancement with the Catskills off the S and SW of them? They only had one observation at 7 AM that looked like sleet and they ripped all night.

Lava Rock
Snowblowing ftl. Belt kept coming off, battery was dead. Thankfully I had jump pack. The large belt wheel on blower was loose. Bad design. Two small Allen pinch screws hold it onto shaft, but they keep loosening making the wheel turn in a very crooked manner.Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
