Weird snowfall distribution around E NY and W NE per the PNSs from ALY and BOX. There's actually more snow in the valleys out by Albany and down by Greenfield, MA than in the mountains, which has me scratching my head. No sure what could've caused this...cold air drain from the north down the valleys? But that was only in the low levels, not aloft where winds were southwesterly. Back over to moderate snow here as well. May wind up with 10-11" total. I'll call that a huge win in the winter that sucked. 16*

Tiktock
Couple inches of tiny glass beads on top of dense sand-like snow. Frigid cold. Keeps coming...how many more hours of this stuff? Then a glaze of ice on everything and a little less than an inch of sleet. Of course the actual snow that fell before the changeover idk but there has been a lot of compaction. weathafella
Snow guy never did the path to the back door and trash cans so I did it myself. Always enjoy shoveling. Digging out and defrosting my wife’s car took some time. Meanwhile I was getting pelted pretty good but it was sleet without other forms of precipitation. Loving the look out there...long live winter!
