Nuts, but somehow it gets precip up here even though it once again went South, lol. Its just whacky again with the SLP jumping all over the place kind of like what the EURO looked like with 2 MSLP's off the MA and ME coast. Not sure why we should be worried.
Charlee4615
Wow rgem again...just beautiful. The question is which to believe them or nam?!
wolfie09
Rgem did move a little south, never makes it to PA.. Hopefully just some model noise..
MAIDEsNow.2
We got 2.2" overnight into this AM, over performing as less than an 1" was forecast. If this "storm" we have been following the entire week then only manages to triple that with a whopping 6 or 7" at the Erie County, PA / Chautauqua County, NY border...what a winter. wolfie09
Still ends in the same place, over cnj, just didn't move as far north intially.. The NAm models and icon all have it sliding south of nj..

Look at what that horrific model did last night. I'm not even looking at it anymore, done with it with this event. Its having serious issues so we toss! just like the SPS did today in their discussion about the event. They said disregard the NAM altogether cause it makes no sense, lol! wolfie09
That 25 miles could determine whether or not we get into that defo band..

cny rider
I'm staking my claim: I think we jackpot in Otsego County. 20 inches plus. This is the perfect track for us.
CNY-WXFREAK
I wouldn't take any precip output map verbatim cause they are almost never correct. I just use it as a guide as to where the heavier snows should fall and where CSI banding will be found if at all and in this case somewhere over N-CNY or perhaps closer to ITH on NE towards the Cap District or perhaps two large bands affecting the area and in between they get squat, lol! Many more surprises from this system for sure over the next 36 hrs or so so buckle up!
CNY-WXFREAK
Remember also, there's quite a bit of convection with this system and that can be causing some issues as well.
CNY-WXFREAK
I don't know about anywhere else but its starting to snow once again as lake enhanced showers start to fire up over LO, interesting!

DeltaT13
Been busy as hell at work all day which was actually a welcome relief from stressing about this storm, haha. Looks like things are on track though and sentiment is positive around here. Just give me a solid foot in the ROC and I'll be happy.
