BuffaloWeather
That secondary band off Erie is looking to take over and become the primary. The southern band is weakening quickly.
CNY_WX
Both bands drifting north right now. The Lake Ontario band looks like it will end up north of Watertown this morning. I might get a few crumbs off that Lake Erie band but probably nothing more than mood flakes.

BUF did mention the other day they were expecting more streamers out of this than a solid band. Lose the rates but expand the coverage area... BuffaloWeather
At 830 AM EST, A band of lake effect snow producing snow fall rates of 2 to 3 inches per hour will continue along the Lake Erie shore from Westfield to Hamburg and extending inland across the Southtowns and into southern Genesee and northern and western Wyoming counties. This band of heavy snow will slowly move a little to the south between 830 AM and 1000 AM. Winds in excess of 30 mph will produce significant blowing and drifting snow with brief periods of near whiteout conditions.

CNY_WX
If you look at the orientation of this Lake Erie band west of Sodus it could end up orienting from Oswego to Mexico to Pulaski.
