Ice Storm Photos from Stokes County NC

These are shots I took on 1/14 in the vicinity of Hanging Rock in Stokes County NC. Remaining ice accumulations were pretty impressive and probably over an inch higher up. This was after a day or so melting had already occurred. There was no shortage of tree damage and branches were still breaking when I took these (Note: they are facebook resolution)

Thank you guys. I wish I knew whose house it was. They have an amazing piece of land. It is a farm.

That house is on Hooker Farm Road between Moore’s Wall and Tory’s Den Cave.  It’s a pretty new house.  I own 18 acres in Stokes for a future house and I’m in that area all the time.  I like getting away from the city slickers. :D

That is correct. It is an awesome area out there and I was amazed at the amount of ice a full day after.
