Yeah but so much uncertainty and as a few Mets have pointed out any big ice totals would be over a narrower range of area than some models were indicating. More likely to be sleet. That cold won't be denied. It'll track along the south coast at the least. I was thinking last night that a compromise to many of the solutions would be an SLP track over James head. Yeah not bad at all. 12z EPS mean had Montreal getting more snow than N.NH (not New Haven), it was real jacked up. Good to see a slink south, the GFS getting sleet into the northeast kingdom of VT could shift back south a bit too, lol.
dryslot
This probably will trend more towards snow/sleet as models pick up on the CAD, Would not be surprised if we see some of the models hold serve or start seeing some tics SE with the slp track coming up even at 00z

STILL N OF PIKE
Freak said it was no bueno for upslope I usually won’t even try to question his upslope skills most all models deepen this to sub990 just NE of Caribou but something is odd

Need that to stack vertically with closed mid-levels to really wrap moisture back westward into the mountains.

Big sensible weather difference between the ones that go up the CT Valley and ones that go over Cape Cod...but at this lead time that's not a ton of spread. It just happens to have a huge impact on many posters here. Just glancing, the deeper lows are the ones west...the weaker pressures are east.
