Snowing at a really good clip now......FINALLY!! A good inch has fallen the past hour, which is the storm total here. Radar looks good, and the various models continue to forecast a lake plume to develop.

nwohweather
Going to be one sharp cut off when this thing tilts. Current numbers verbatim go with 4” for Toledo, 6” for Toledo Express and 8” for Findlay. Does appear as there is some convective feedback issues on the GFS as it wants to dump a foot from Columbus over to Youngstown with sharp gradients up to the northwest corner of the state. Just really curious where the deformation sets up as so many times we have seen it go west and north of where it was forecasted. 30-40 mile miss could be a huge difference

miller.b.time
Raining north of Indy. Oh well. Should switch over at some point, but it’s gonna kill those totals. Good luck everyone else lol.
JustMePatrick
Light snow is falling in Rawson (Hancock Co, OH, South of Findlay). Light dusting on streets and driveways. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
ILwxchr
Averaged out 5.75" for a measurement here south of Galesburg imby. So close to the 6" mark, hurts lol. BUT we got a rare heavy snow observation at the airport and shot some good video, so I'm happy. Baum
Haven't got out there to snow blow the drive. Thinking about 6" with the back edge approaching though the dendrites have become quite large perhaps getting some lake enhancement involved. Be nice. KPITSnow
So I’m in Pittsburgh, and have been on the southern edge of any significant snow the whole time. is the mix/rain line setting up way further north than anticipated?
Toronto4
Latest short range guidance (HRRR, 12 NAM) showing tonight’s deformation zone setting up further NW than originally forecast and as a result it keeps the snow longer in the Toronto area. Looking like 4-6” is possible. Higher amounts can’t be ruled out.

Should be fun once the winds start cranking. Kinda funny, what was once suppose to be a good hit here locally, instead of gaining snowpack, have actually lost snowpack with bare spots now. Ugh

I think 3-6 is the right call for the band, which I think merits an advisory at least. I would throw Cook, Lake, and Porter counties on that. I'd be happy with 2" at the rate this storm has been trending, but 4" would be great.
